Key West Experiences Built Around You
Every charter is fully customizable. Whether you want to chase dolphins through the backcountry, anchor up at a pristine sandbar and float the afternoon away, or watch the sun drop into the Gulf of Mexico, your captain builds the trip around what your group wants to do. Here are the experiences our guests love most.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back to Salty Bottom Boats
Captain Chad Harris didn’t set out to start a boat charter company. He came to Key West from Rochester, New York to help a friend move some stuff, the airline lost his return ticket, and he never looked back. Twelve years operating water tours, jet ski rentals, and charters across these waters earned him both a 100 Ton and 200 Ton Masters License and a deep understanding of what makes a day on the water unforgettable.
He founded Salty Bottom Boats to share Key West the way he fell in love with it — through adventure, freedom, and moments you carry with you forever. That spirit runs through everything, from the crew he’s built (Gino, Jose, Renata, Mikey, and Eva are family at this point) to the way every charter is built around exactly what your group wants.
